Apparently someone took the article and e-mailed it to various news agencies, magazines, and newspapers world- over via the internet. On Dec. 4, 1998, in a swift response to the article, The Union Recorder featured two headline articles in big bold letters and color pictures. One article was entitled "Mass Email To Media Targets Sills-Internet Message Includes Fake Newspaper Masthead" written by Judy Bailey. The other article was "Sills: Article Has Gone Way Too Far," written by Jena Frazier. As stated earlier, Ms Williams was the author of the article, which she openly admitted. True to form, in the second column, second paragraph of Judy Bailey's article it reads "Georgia Press Association Attorney David E. Hudson said, “The mock paper violates a state copyright law. I think if they represent themselves as the legal organ..." See the game? If Brenda Williams wrote the article, why did David Hudson say "They", when Brenda Williams is an individual? This is another way of falsely implicating the Nuwaupians as the origin of the article, to simply have another reason to attack them with racism and hate.
Brenda Williams was exercising her privilege and right as an American citizen to express her opinion. Yet, the Eatonton "Pact" insists upon naming the Nuwaupians as the source. Why did Jena Frazier, writer for The Union- Recorder, contact Mr. Thomas Chism, the then Spokesman for the Eatonton branch, and ask him if he knew anything about the article, if Ms. Williams stated in the article that she wrote it? It should be very plain to see, if Mr. Chism, the Spokesman for the Nuwaupians told her the Nuwaupians had nothing to do with it, that should have been it, right? However, the implication was still put in the newspaper; this is what is meant by biased, one-sided reporting.
This is a country where you are innocent until proven guilty. It just seems very suspicious that this reporter's first action was to call Tama-RE, Egypt of the West, UNDER THE PRETENSE THAT THEY WERE GUILTY. It seems the past immoral and unlawful acts that the Eatonton "Pact" has swept under the rug for so many years is now so big that everyone notices it now. What was once a local issue that was talked about in a small town in rural Georgia, has now been brought to the attention of national and international media thanks to the untiring efforts of Sheriff Sills and his band of minions in Eatonton, GA. It seems that now the Eatonton "Pact" has more to deal with than the Nuwaupians, they have the everyday citizens of Eatonton, Ga, who have now awaken to their unfair dealings!
